Alexander Lightwood had always been a type of guy that always thought highly of personal hygiene.

Sure, his sweaters might have a few holes in them now and again. There might have been a tear across the knee of his jeans. His shoelaces might have been knotted, and frayed at the ends.

No, Alexander Lightwood didn't care about fashion, as his boyfriend called it. Alexander Lightwood cared about personal hygiene.

Being sick, Okamiden, Alice, Tin Man, fanfiction

I was dreadfully sick the past two days... before yesterday... Aka Monday and Tuesday. Fever with headache, earache, hallucinations, shaking, nausea, hot flashes, everything... Probably the sickest I've been, fever-wise, since I have 106 in 5th grade. It was not fun.

I finished Okami since my last journal. Found out Okami has a sequel. WANT. Will hopefully get soon.

Found two new, BEST TV miniseries ever: Alice and Tin Man. Obviously, the first is a remake of Alice in Wonderland, the second Wizard of Oz. They were both from the SyFy channel and are both available on DVD now, and are so freaking amazing.

Right now, fanfiction is running my life. So many stories, mostly centering around Tin Man right now.

The play I wrote for my summer reading project; I finally put it on, on stage, today. It went GREAT. I was excited to stage direct it and excited to get it all going on, but now it's over and I'm almost sad. Oh well. We're writing another one later on this year, in like January.

That's about it. Nothing else much to say.

Name's WiltedxBlackxRose, because I like black roses and am considerably emo at some points... But I can also be very cheerful. Call me Wilted, or Genevieve (Gene for short), or Bane.

I'm seventeen, I live in Ohio, and my dream is to be a novelist. I'm working as a reporter and online journalist right now, and hope to get a spot in retail. I'm working on a current sci-fi fantasy manuscript of my own.

I'm really into reading and writing. I love anime and manga as well. And drawing, obviously, since I'm here for the art.

Those finger painting ones are amazing. No, not lately. I haven't had the time... we're doing summer reading projects for English class and I'm still reporting for the news. xD The latest thing I watched was Priest. [-legasp- not a J.D. movie! xP]

I liked it... It was a terrible cliffhanger but they set it up for a second movie. I did like it, though. I still have yet to watch Scissorhands...
